besides blogging about the beautiful people in the fashion industry, she also keeps it real with her less than beautiful posts about what happens to your nails when you were nailpolish too much, the magnifying mirror, admitting that we can't wear heels all the time, not to mention her short changing lifestyle series, and the endless battle we fight with working out.
assuming that you're an avid reader like me (if you're not, i hope i am making you one now), then you must have stumbled upon her new series: pardon my french. it's basically like a blogpost come alive (about fashion week). despite my recent admiration for garance, i never heard her actual voice until recently. isn't that always a weird revelation? when you read someone's writing forever, and you develop this idea of how they sound in your mind, but then when you hear them for the first time, it sounds nothing like you imagined?
i had that moment with garance. except i like her voice better in real life than in my imagination. her french accent is much stronger and cuter.
i LOVE Garance's blog and i love the new Pardon My French series. she gave a talk at FIT in new york city a few weeks ago that i went to. it was so weird, and cool, to hear her and see her and not just be reading the blog.
