Downtownfrombehind

Downtownfrombehind is an incredible new project {started in Feb. 2010} that takes pictures of artists, musicians, party planners -- "artsy" type people riding their bikes in New York City. The coolest thing about it {in my opinion} is that whoever takes their picture, actually talks to them and gets a mini interview/blurb about who they are -- it's not just an anonymous, candid photo. Photographers who don't chicken out and strictly photograph strangers like that are really something {in America, I'm too chicken to talk to people; in Europe I try to break the language barrier. What's that all about?}
