/  these beautiful turkish bath towels [found via reading my tea leaves]
/  i finally found the perfect nightstands for our awkwardly shaped bedroom
/  making my version of emily's comfort food : butternut squash soup, three-cheese grilled cheese on rosemary broule and dogfish head's punkin beer. [no pic, sorry!]
/  organizing my entire deskspace + desktop + apartment. it feels GOOD.
/  hearing news of new freelance work. yes, please!:D
/  discovering this blog via kinfolk magazine, which then led me to this other lovely blog [don't you just love getting lost in a new blog?]
/  i finally ordered 'joie de vivre' key necklaces for my girls. can't wait to receive them!

a few friday unfavorites:

/  i got my first speeding ticket
/  i brought my 19 y/o cat gilbert to stay with us all week long while my mom is out of town thinking it'd be so super fun and kasi would fall in love and buy me a kitten and the three of us would live happily ever after.  it was the complete opposite, he kept us up all night long every night and terrorized our entire house.  we took him home two days ago.
/  enough facebook facelifts!  and netflix!  pandora and instagram, you're ok.
